PHOTOGRAPH YOUR RECORDS Capture the front and optional back cover, or choose images from your photo library. Straighten, crop, and enhance sleeve photos while preserving the originals for a closer look.

FIND THE PHYSICAL PRESSING Apple Vision reads barcodes and sleeve text, then Vinilo searches Discogs and compares candidate artwork on-device. Review the country, year, label, format, and catalog number before confirming the record in your hands. Identification suggests candidates; you make the final choice.

MAKE YOUR COLLECTION YOURS Browse in grid or list view. Search by artist, album, year, barcode, label, or catalog number. Filter by genre, edit metadata, and add your own ratings and listening notes.

CONNECT WITH DISCOGS Authorize your Discogs account to search for releases and add confirmed records to your Discogs collection. A failed remote sync keeps your successful local save intact. Deleting a local record does not remove it from Discogs.

KEEP A PORTABLE COPY Export collection metadata and original/prepared photos to Files or iCloud Drive. Optional daily backups run while you use Vinilo and retain the seven newest automatic snapshots in your chosen folder. Backup packages exclude credentials. An in-app restore flow is not yet available.

LOCAL FIRST Browse, edit, and back up locally saved records without a Discogs connection. Recognition and artwork comparison run on-device. Photos, ratings, and private listening notes are not uploaded to Vinilo’s connection service.

Searching for releases and adding to Discogs require a connected Discogs account and internet access. Designed for iPhone with iOS 18 or later.
