Silly big numbers, cute faces
Charge past 100% and keep holding. 1,000%... 1,000,000%... a trillion%? Watch the cartoon faces puff up and pop. A silly tap game, not a battery tool.
Charge the battery past 100% and watch the number go silly — 500%, 9,000%,
a million% — while cartoon battery faces puff up, wobble and pop. It is a
game, not a battery tool: nothing here touches your real phone.
HOLD TO CHARGE, LET GO TO COOL
Plug in the cable and hold. The number climbs — 250%, 400%, 900% — and the
battery heats up while you do it. Every order asks for a charge inside a
target window. Let go inside the window and the order is filled. Let go too
soon and the charge drains away. Hold on too long and it pops, face and
all. Two slips are forgiven. The third one bursts.
FUNNY BATTERY FACES
Empty batteries look sad and cry. Full batteries smile. Overcharged
batteries puff up big, wobble and go silly. The more you charge, the
funnier they get.
SUPER BIG NUMBERS
The first battery wants 250%. Later ones want 9,000%, then 90,000%, then
numbers so long they stretch right across the screen. Big numbers, big
giggles.
PUSH YOUR LUCK
Just past the window sit six Overcharge notches, paying x1.5 up to x12
Volts. Every notch you climb into might pop the battery. Bank a safe
delivery, or hold on one moment longer for a much bigger payout. That
choice is the whole game.
COLLECT NEW BATTERIES
Every battery has its own temper. Some run hot and give you barely a
second. Some drain the moment you let go. Fill orders to earn Volts, then
spend them in the Charger Shop on new battery friends and new rigs to
charge them on: green ones, red ones, tiny ones, giant ones, glowing ones.
EASY FOR LITTLE HANDS
One thumb, and that is it. Every button is a picture, so no reading is
needed. A round runs about twelve seconds — pick it up in a queue, put it
down when your stop arrives. No energy to wait for and no daily streak to
protect.
POPS, ZAPS AND CHEERS
Happy sounds, bouncy music and a big zap every time your number jumps.
PLAYS OFFLINE
The whole game works with no connection. There are no accounts, no
sign-in, and nothing is uploaded.
GOOD TO KNOW
- Bright, simple and easy to pick up
- Nothing scary and no hard words
- Play at home, in the car or on a trip
- Sounds can be turned off any time
If you came here from the battery overcharging videos — the ones counting up
to a trillion percent until the battery explodes — this is that, as a game
you play yourself.
Charge it. Overcharge it. Then charge it some more!
—
A note for grown-ups: the batteries in this game are cartoon characters
with big silly faces. Real batteries and real phones should never be
overcharged — that only happens in the funny world of Battery Overcharge.
This game is free and playable start to finish without paying. Volts — the
currency the game hands out for playing — can also be bought, and they only
ever buy cosmetic batteries and chargers. Nothing purchasable affects
progress, retries, extra lives or difficulty. There are no loot boxes, no
randomised rewards, no subscriptions and no ads. Purchases are protected by
your device's normal App Store authentication, and you can switch them off
entirely in iOS Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions.
