Doodlebug is a baby tracker that keeps going after the baby years. Sleep, feeds, diapers and medicines on the days you are counting them, then growth, milestones and memories for years after you stop.

Tracking is free and stays free. Every log type, history and charts, milestones, Siri logging, Lock Screen timers and sharing with other caregivers work with no subscription.

It records what you and the people helping you notice. It does not diagnose anything and it is not a substitute for advice from your doctor or health visitor. Always speak to them before making a decision about your child's health.

WHAT YOU CAN LOG

Sleep, bottles, nursing, pumping, meals, diapers, medicines, temperature, symptoms, activity, screen time, growth measurements and appointments. Choose which of these your child's Log screen shows, so a seven-year-old's list is not a newborn's.

TWO TAPS, EVEN AT 3AM

Start a nap or a feed with one tap and the timer runs on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you can put the phone down. Stop it when they wake. Nothing to type in the dark, and nothing to remember in the morning.

LOG BY VOICE WITH SIRI

Say "Hey Siri, wet diaper in Doodlebug" and it is logged, with your hands full and the phone locked, even with no signal. Siri can start and stop a nap, a feed, pumping and screen time, and log bottles, meals, temperatures, growth measurements and activities. It says back what it logged, and "Hey Siri, undo that in Doodlebug" takes it back. Medicines are never logged by voice, on purpose.

THE WEEK, WITHOUT THE ARITHMETIC

Today lays the whole day out in order. Week draws seven days side by side, anchored so a night reads as one block instead of being cut in half at midnight. Trends gives you the averages and which way they are moving. Growth plots weight, height and head circumference against the WHO Child Growth Standards for under-fives and the WHO Growth Reference 2007 above that.

MILESTONES, BIRTH TO SEVEN

What is typical at your child's age, written to reassure first, with one thing per age band that is worth mentioning to your doctor. Tick things off as they happen, or do not. Nothing here is a test and nothing is scored.

MEDICINES AND COURSES

Log a one-off dose, or set up a course and let Doodlebug work out when each dose is due. Doses at the same time are grouped into one round, so two medicines at 2pm are one trip to the kitchen. Turn on a reminder and you get one notification per round, never one per medicine. Reminders are optional and the app works fully without them.

EVERYONE WHO HELPS

Invite a partner, a grandparent or a nanny. Everyone logs into the same history and sees the same day. It is built offline first, so you can log on a plane, in a hospital basement or with no signal at all, and it catches up when you are back.

ASK DOODLE

Doodle answers questions about your own child's records. When did she last have paracetamol. How long are the naps lately. Has he ever had egg. The answers are read from what you have logged, not from the internet, and Doodle tells you what he can see before you send a first message. Doodle is part of Doodlebug Plus.

YOUR CHILD'S DATA IS NOT THE PRODUCT

No adverts. No third-party trackers on your child's records. Nothing sold, and nothing used to train anybody's AI model. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app.

DOODLEBUG PLUS

Logging, Siri, history, charts, milestones and caregiver sharing are free and stay free. Plus adds Doodle and backs up the photos you add, where every caregiver can see them. It is a monthly subscription that renews through your App Store account until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in your App Store settings.
