Slateworks

Know your costs. Bill instantly. Slateworks schedules your crews and subs, and every daily report from the jobsite turns into job cost and billing the same day.

Know your costs. Bill instantly. Slateworks runs the field side of your paving or specialty-trade company from your phone or iPad: who's working where tomorrow, what they need, what got done today, and what it cost.

KNOW YOUR COSTS • Every daily report becomes job cost the day it's filed: crew hours, equipment hours and materials, priced from your own rates. • See each day's real cost against the bid while the job is still running, not weeks later. • Approved quantities go straight to billing. No re-keying field tickets in the office.

SCHEDULE THE WORK • The Board: foremen down the side, days across. Swipe through the weeks, drag a job to another crew or day, tap an empty day to schedule a job there. • Plan a job on the iPad, then place its days on the Board or Month without leaving Plan. • Two crews on one task, and subcontractor days on their own row. • Move a day, push a job back for rain with a preview of what shifts, or take a job off a day.

KNOW TODAY'S PLAN • Today: every job you're on, each opening on its site map. Tap for directions; swipe to the takeoff drawing. • The day's page: the work and amounts, the foreman, the crew by position, equipment and staged materials. • Job documents and plan sheets a tap away.

REPORT FROM THE JOBSITE • File the daily report from the truck: quantities against the day's plan, equipment hours, timecards with breaks, photos and a note. Every report is tied to the site. • T&M tickets for out-of-contract work, signed on the spot. • Change requests go straight to the office.

APPROVE FROM ANYWHERE • Supers and the office review daily reports and T&M tickets, send them back with a note, or approve them.

WIN THE NEXT JOB • Walk a prospective site and capture the scope by voice and photo; the office turns it into a priced estimate. • Ask Sam, the built-in assistant, about your jobs and get answers from your company's own data.

The app adapts to your role: foremen see their day and their reports; supers and the office see scheduling, approvals and cost; estimators see bid capture.
