switzerland is quietly one of the best-hydrated places on earth. there are around 26,700 public drinking fountains here, most of them running constantly, most of them free, and most of them better than anything you'd pay six francs for.

crisp is a map of all of them.

open the app and you get a map of every tap near you. tap a pin to see what you're dealing with: is it running, is it drinkable, how far away is it, and how crisp is it?

crispness is a 1 to 5 score, rated by people who actually drank from it. pressure, taste, looks, cleanliness, whether you can get a bottle under it. one fountain is a dribbling ornamental thing you'd struggle to fill a cup at. another is a cold, fast, perfect one. they look identical on a map. they are not the same. crisp is the difference.

IS IT ACTUALLY RUNNING? official data goes stale. fountains get switched off for maintenance and nobody updates the spreadsheet. so you can report what you actually found, and when a couple of people agree, the map corrects itself.
