Capturing is compulsory, and whoever could capture and didn't gets called out. Boards for 4, 6 and 8 players, with friends or against bots that really play.

The parqués everyone grew up with, now online and with the house rules.

Two dice, four pieces and one rule that changes everything: capturing is compulsory. If you could capture and you didn't, anyone at the table can call you out and your piece goes to jail. That makes every turn two questions at once: what suits me, and what did the others notice. It is what makes this parqués and not ludo.

THE REAL RULES, NOTHING TRIMMED • You leave jail on a double, or on a 1 or a 6 — which frees all four pieces at once. • The piece that captures stays put for the rest of the turn. • Three doubles in a row: your last moved piece crowns or goes to jail, whichever the table agreed. • Safe squares and the home-column entrance are off limits. • And the call-out, with its own punishment for calling it wrongly.

BOARDS FOR 4, 6 AND 8 PLAYERS The eight-seat board is a party: eight colours, eight starting squares and a lap so long there is always somebody within reach.

FOUR OPTIONAL VARIANTS Walls, a 20-square bonus for capturing, a 10-square bonus for crowning, and a cap of four pieces per square. You pick them when you create the table, and anyone joining sees them before sitting down.

BOTS THAT ACTUALLY PLAY Three levels, and what tells them apart is not cheating but how much they fear danger. The hard one weighs what it risks on every square, watches you, and calls you out if you slip. Good for playing alone at three in the morning, and for keeping a game alive when somebody's wifi dies.

NOBODY GETS STRANDED A configurable turn timer, or games with no clock and a pause everyone has to agree on. Lose connection and the game plays for you for two minutes, then hands your pieces back where it left them. If everyone drops, the game freezes and nobody loses their seat.

WITH WHOEVER YOU LIKE Public tables, an invite link to drop in the group chat, friends by player number, a block list, and spectators who watch without touching anything.

AND THE SMALL THINGS THAT MATTER You choose the colour others see you in. Reactions with sound, to needle the player across the table. A replay of every move, so you don't miss what happened while you looked away. Twelve achievements that come from your own record, not from a separate list. All of it in Spanish and English.

No sign-up required: pick a nickname and you're in. The email account is optional and only exists so you can take your profile to another phone.

THE SUBSCRIPTION, WHICH IS OPTIONAL Parqués is free and complete as it is. The subscription only removes the ads and gives unlimited lives.
