A retro-inspired player for classic tracker modules and home computer chip music, with demoscene-style visualisers.

A tracker module isn't a recording. It's rendered live from its own pattern data — the notes, instruments and effects the composer typed in — so what you see scrolling past is what is driving the sound.

Some of it goes further still. A SID, SAP or SNDH file carries the composer's own machine code, and the app runs it: an emulated 6502 or 68000 driving an emulated SID, POKEY or YM2149, the way the machine did.

FORMATS

Tracker modules: MOD, MED and OKT from the Amiga, XM, IT and S3M from the PC demoscene, plus MTM, STM, PTM, MDL, DBM, DIGI, IMF, PSM, ULT, GDM, MO3, FAR, J2B, AMF, DMF and around twenty-five more.

Chip music: SID (Commodore 64), SAP (Atari 8-bit), SNDH and YM (Atari ST), 4V (Quartet).

Ordinary audio too: WAV, AIFF, MP3, M4A and FLAC.

THE DISPLAY

Switch the main display between a live pattern view for tracker modules that scrolls in time with the music, VU meters and a spectrum analyser. The pattern view shows the real note, instrument and effect columns — the same data the tracker wrote, not a decoration.

VISUALISERS

A dot tunnel and other demoscene-style effects, running to the music. Send any of them full screen.

EVERYTHING ELSE

Playlists you can save and reload. A ten-band EQ with presets. Two skins on Mac — a studio rack and a resizable Liquid window — plus a mini player. Keyboard shortcuts throughout. Background playback with lock screen controls on iPhone and iPad.

NO STRINGS

No ads. No accounts. No analytics. No network code at all — the app has never made a connection and cannot. Your files stay on your device, and everything works offline.
