My Azaan

Most prayer apps interrupt you. This one doesn't: no full-screen ads, ever. Accurate times, the full Azaan on your lock screen, an ayah and hadith each visit.

My Azaan does one thing well: it tells you when to pray, and calls the Azaan when it's time.

No full-screen ads. Nothing to dismiss before you can see today's times. No account, no sign-in, no email address. Just the five prayers, laid out plainly, and the Azaan when each one arrives.

PRAYER TIMES FOR WHERE YOU ACTUALLY ARE • Search any city or town, or use your current location • Choose your madhab — Hanafi, Shafi, Maliki or Hanbali — and Asr adjusts to match • 12-hour or 24-hour clock, whichever you read faster • A full year of times downloads at once, so the app keeps working with no signal and no data

THE AZAAN, NOT A NOTIFICATION CHIME • The complete Azaan, recorded by Mansour Al Zahrani in Makkah • It plays on the lock screen — you don't have to open the app to hear it • Fajr uses the proper Fajr Azaan, including "as-salatu khayrun min an-nawm"

EVERY PRAYER, SET THE WAY YOU WANT IT • Choose per prayer: the full Azaan, a short beep, vibrate only, or silent • Keep weekdays and weekends separate — let Fajr wake you for work without waking you on a Saturday • Change any of it in two taps; there are no menus buried inside menus

SOMETHING TO SIT WITH • Ayah of the Moment and Hadith of the Moment sit side by side on the home screen • Tap either to read it in full, with its reference • A copy button puts the passage and its citation on your clipboard, ready to send to someone • Hadith are limited to narrations graded sahih or hasan; the Quran text is Marmaduke Pickthall's English translation, and every ayah shows its sura and verse so you can check it

ADS THAT KNOW THEIR PLACE This app is free, and a single banner at the bottom of the screen pays for it. That banner is the whole of it. There are no interstitials, no rewarded videos, no ads that appear while you are looking at a prayer time. The ads are non-personalized: My Azaan does not use your advertising identifier and does not build a profile of you, which is why you will never see a tracking permission prompt.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT • No analytics of any kind • Your location, settings and saved times stay on your device • Nothing is uploaded to a server we run • Delete the app and every trace of your data goes with it
