Anvilgrain

Anvilgrain is a companion app for blacksmiths, forge-pattern collectors, and craft researchers. It helps you digitize forge-pattern specimens, then retrieve, compare, and document them by visual texture.

• Forge Atlas: Build a personal pattern library; browse, filter, and manage specimens by pattern type, albums, and keywords
• Specimen Archive: Import forge-pattern photos, extract texture features automatically, and add craft details such as steel, folding method, quenching, and era
• Search by Texture: Upload a pattern image and match similar specimens in your atlas by visual similarity for comparison and reference
• Craft Details: View texture features, process parameters, private notes, and linked forge notes for each specimen
• Forge Notes: Document folding, twisting, quenching, and other steps with photos, tags, versions, and links to specimens
• Collection Tools: Organize specimens into albums, mark classic references, and manage items in bulk, including restore after removal
