Posts appear in the order they were shared. Nothing is ranked or suggested.

START WITHOUT PAYING • Every group gets 500 MB for photos and video. No card, no countdown • Up to eight people, which covers most families and most old-friend groups • Notes, lists, replies and reactions • A weekly email digest for folk who don't do apps • Everything you share stays yours to view, download and export

SHARE THE SMALL STUFF • Photos: up to ten per post, and the originals are kept safe, not crushed • Video: a clip up to a minute long, for the moments a photo can't hold • Replies and reactions • Check-ins: one weekly or monthly question, answered with a note, photo or short video • On this day: old posts gently return on their anniversary • Invite with a private link or QR code. People in the group can suggest someone they already know • Birthdays start a guestbook. They can't read it until you give it to them

WHAT PLUS AND TOGETHER ADD • Voice notes, because a text never sounds like them. Three minutes of someone's actual voice • Events with RSVPs, guest counts and little notes ("bringing the good camera") • Can't pick a date? Start a date poll and let everyone vote • Ask your folk: which book, which restaurant, which route • Make it regular, and take turns hosting • A named pin that opens in maps, or a few words like "the old house" • Invite another group to a get-together. Share the details you choose; each group keeps its own replies and photos • Albums, for a holiday or an ordinary Sunday • Guestbooks you open by hand, for a wedding, a new baby, or a hard week • Recipes, traditions and the things your group knows • Recommend a film, series, book, record or place. ACTUALLY PRIVATE • Invite-only groups. Eight people on Free, forty on Plus or Together • No adverts, no third-party trackers, no selling your attention • Your memories belong to your group. Export your data or delete your account whenever you like • When you invite another group to a get-together, only the event details you choose are shared. Replies and photos stay in their own group

HOW IT WORKS One person starts the group and hosts it; everyone they invite joins free. Photos and video work from the first day. Owners who want voice notes, events and albums can try Plus free for 30 days, with no card.

AmongFolk Plus is £4.99 a month or £49.99 a year and covers one group. Together is £12.99 a month or £129.99 a year and can cover up to five. Payment is charged to your Apple Account, and it renews until you turn off auto-renew in your Apple Account settings at least 24 hours before the period ends.

If a subscription or trial ends, your posts, replies, events and albums stay put. Photos, video and voice notes are kept for a further twelve months. We'll remind you at 90, 60, 30 and 7 days, and subscribing again stops the clock.
