PE Companion puts your Panda Eats restaurant in your pocket.

It answers the questions an owner or manager actually asks when they are away from the counter, in the order they matter.

IS SOMETHING WRONG RIGHT NOW Alerts tell you when the order tablet stops checking in, when orders time out without being accepted, and when the day's report is ready. The problems you would otherwise hear about from an angry phone call.

HOW IS TODAY GOING One screen, one number. Sales so far today, orders taken, whether service is open, and which items are actually selling.

WHAT HAPPENED WITH THAT ORDER Every order as it settles, with its items, modifiers, the full total breakdown and how the diner paid. On deliveries sent to Uber Direct you also see the courier's progress.

CAN I STOP THE BLEEDING Pause pickup, delivery, reservations or catering for thirty minutes, an hour, two hours, or the rest of the day. Add a note your diners will see on your ordering page. Every pause expires on its own, so a pause you forget about is not a closed restaurant.

IS THE DAY READY TO CLOSE OUT Sales for today, the last seven days or the last thirty, broken down by service, with your top selling items and the end of day summary.

MORE THAN ONE LOCATION Switch between every restaurant your account can see. Each keeps its own alerts, hours and timezone, and every date and total is worked out in the restaurant's own local time rather than your phone's.

A COMPANION, NOT A REPLACEMENT This app deliberately does very little. It reads a lot and changes almost nothing: pausing service is the only thing it can alter. Taking orders stays on the kitchen tablet where it belongs, and menus, promotions, printing and refunds stay on the Panda Eats merchant dashboard.
