Built for home mechanics, shop apprentices, and cycling-club workshops, the app is a live lacing bench—not a parts catalog and not a ride log. Enter hub and rim specs, choose a cross pattern, route every spoke on a guided top-down diagram, balance tension and dish on a trueing simulator, then leave with a commercial spoke cut list.
SET UP ANY WHEEL RECIPE
Enter hub flange diameters, center-to-flange distances, locknut width, rim ERD, spoke-hole offset, and left/right hole counts. Save the setup as a named session recipe you can reopen and edit anytime.
ROUTE PATTERNS HOLE BY HOLE
Pick radial, 1-cross through 4-cross, or 2-lead variants and watch animated hole-by-hole routing on a top-down hub and rim stage. Drive and non-drive flanges are color-coded with crossing callouts. Step or scrub the lace sequence, tap any spoke to isolate its full path and paired crossings, flip the rim to the opposite flange view, and undo or redo mis-routes before you commit.
SOLVE LENGTHS AND EXPORT A CUT LIST
Run the spoke-length solver for each side, round to common commercial lengths, and generate a grouped cut list (quantity × length × side) ready for the parts counter. Share as plain text or a simple PDF build sheet.
TRUE, DISH, AND FIX
Open the tension ring simulator: drag relative tension on individual spokes, read lateral and radial true-error meters, and apply suggested corrective turn directions until the rim stabilizes. Use the dish offset tool to set cassette-side spacing, compare rim centerline vs frame center in millimeters, and preview how non-drive vs drive-side length changes re-center the wheel. Work problem-clinic decision trees for hop, wobble, taco, and loose-spot cases with illustrated spoke-turn sequences and clear “when to start over” stop rules.

Three seeded demo builds ship with the app—road 700c 32h 3-cross, gravel 650b 28h 2-cross, and track front radial—each pre-filled with realistic hub and rim numbers so every tool is exercisable immediately.
