Hunt Regs, Seasons & Journal
Opening day is closer than you think. Season dates, tags, licenses and hunt regs in one place, with reminders and nudges to read the regulations. Start free, no account.
Every tag, license and deadline for every state you hunt, in one place.
Seasons, tags, licenses, hunt regs, draw applications and preference points — organized around the year you actually hunt, with reminders before every opener, deadline and
expiry. Nothing to sign up for and nothing to maintain.
It never claims to know your season dates or your regulations. It stores what you entered, keeps the agency's own link beside it, and tells you when you last read it.
Free to use. No account, no ads, and the hunt journal is never paywalled.
HOW IT WORKS
- Add a season — one species, one place, one year. California Deer, 2026.
- Hang everything off it: the tag, the license that covers it, the dates it runs, the official regulation link, and who is hunting it.
- Today assembles itself. Openers count down, licenses warn you before they lapse, and draw deadlines arrive 30, 7 and 1 days out.
WHO IT IS FOR
• Multi-state hunters juggling licenses, tags and validations across three states
• Western hunters tracking draw applications, results dates and preference points
• Anyone who has ever found out at a check station that something expired
• Families who hunt together, including the people who will never install an app
• Hunters who keep a journal and want the blank days in it too
WHAT YOU GET
Never miss the deadline you cannot get back — draw applications move through planning, applied, drawn, tag purchased, with reminders at 30, 7 and 1 days and preference points tracked year over year.
Know who is actually ready before you drive four hours — trips check every person going against the trip's own dates, so a license that lapses the day before the opener shows
up on a Tuesday instead of in a parking lot.
Read the regulations before the opener, not after something goes wrong — save the agency's official link and your own notes, mark when you last reviewed it, and get a
nudge two weeks out.
Enter a license once, not four times — one state hunting license points at deer, turkey, upland and waterfowl. Tags, permits and validations stay separate, because they
are separate.
Every state and every province — all 50 states, federal stamps, and Canada, with the wording each one uses.
A hunt journal that keeps the whole season — where you went, what you carried, what came of it, with photographs. Days with nothing taken are kept with the same weight, because most days are those.
Your year, in one page — days afield, harvests, states, methods, who you went with, and the firsts. Export it as a PDF or share it as an image.
Everything on your device — no account, no server, works with no signal.
FREQUENTLY ASKED
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything is stored on your iPhone, so tags, dates, notes and your journal work with no signal. Only opening a regulation link needs a connection, because that goes to
the agency's own site.
Is there a subscription?
The app is free, including an unlimited journal, unlimited photos, reminders and three active licenses, tags or permits. Outdoorsman ($19.99/year) removes the limit and adds
draws, preference points, calendar sync and export. Family ($34.99/year) adds up to six people and trip readiness. Cancel and nothing is deleted.
Is this an official license I can show a warden?
No. Documents you store are reference copies for your own use. Follow your state or province's rules for what has to be carried or displayed.
Add your first season today, and let the app remember the rest.
