Actually Here is attendance for university lectures and tutorials. You open a check-in window, and the phones actually in the room check themselves in over Bluetooth. No names read aloud. No sheet passed around. No accounts for students to create or forget.
HOW IT WORKS
- Create a class and put the join code on the whiteboard.
- Students install the app, enter the code, and type their name and student number once.
- When you are ready, tap to open a check-in window.
- Your phone broadcasts a one-time secret over Bluetooth. Phones in the room hear it and sign it with a key held in the device's secure hardware.
- The roll fills itself, and you watch it happen live.
PROOF, NOT HONESTY
A check-in counts only if it carries the right secret from the right moment, signed by a known device. That secret existed only inside your check-in window, so a screenshot, a forwarded code, or a friend sitting across campus gets nowhere. Checking in a mate means physically handing over an unlocked phone — expensive, awkward, and it leaves traces the app flags for you.
Valid check-ins need no confirmation from you. Only the anomalies ask for a human look.
