A barcode reader that is only a barcode reader.

Point it at a label and the line reads it. Every code in the frame is taken at once, so a shelf of six is one look, not six. Each is numbered where it sits on screen and again on the card below it, so you can tell which is which without guessing. The camera never stops to show you a result.

It makes them too. Pick a symbology, type the digits, and the app checks them against the real specification while you type - the wrong number of digits or a bad check digit is refused before you can save it, with the reason. Save it as a 1024px PNG or share it straight out.

BUILT FOR THE AWKWARD ONES A worn label on a curved bottle, a screen showing a code, a receipt in bad light. The reader reads across the whole width of the frame rather than a small box in the middle, so a label a little too wide is not silently thrown away. NO QR CODES, ON PURPOSE This is the barcode half of the pair. The app will not read or draw a QR code. Hold one up and it tells you what it is and where our QR Scanner app lives, instead of doing both things badly.
