Squawster - Police Scanner

Squawster is an iPhone app for listening to live public-safety radio, including police, fire, EMS, aviation, rail, and weather feeds powered by Broadcastify. Browse feeds by county, state, or metro, search by name, or jump to what is active near you. Background audio with lock-screen controls lets you keep listening while using other apps.

The app also surfaces a nationwide feed of major incidents such as working fires, mass-casualty events, aircraft emergencies, and hazmat situations as they escalate. You can follow specific areas and event types for push alerts, and receive a notification when a feed surges past 5,000 listeners. Squawster is free to browse and listen. Squawster Pro, a $4.99/month auto-renewable subscription, adds live scanning of Broadcastify Calls talkgroups, custom Calls playlists, cloud sync of favorites across devices, archived recording playback, and an ad-free experience.
