I’ve been using Mzad for several years, particularly for the car auctions. The biggest problem is that the seller can apparently decide not to sell even after the auction ends and you have won the bid, while there is **no reserve price shown to bidders**. This wastes buyers’ time. You may research the vehicle, arrange an inspection, follow the auction and bid, only to discover that winning the auction does not necessarily mean the seller will accept the result. Other auction platforms use a transparent reserve price or at least clearly indicate whether the reserve has been met. Mzad should do the same so buyers know whether they are participating in a genuine sale. The vehicle inspection reports also need significant improvement. The standard Mzad reports provide very little useful information for assessing a car. The vehicles with **Kashf reports are noticeably better**, although even those could be more comprehensive. I think Mzad should require sellers to pay for a proper Kashf inspection before auction. This would improve the information available to buyers and discourage sellers who are simply testing the market without a genuine intention to sell. If a seller refuses a legitimate winning bid after the auction, there should also be an administrative penalty — even something like **QAR 500** — rather than allowing buyers’ time to be wasted without consequence. One positive: my auction credit was refunded within about **24 hours**, despite the official information suggesting it could take up to 10 days. That was much better than expected. Customer service, however, needs considerably more training and improvement, which other reviewers have also mentioned. Mzad has the potential to be an excellent Qatar auction platform, but it needs to make the process fairer and more transparent for buyers as well as sellers.
