Livegrade Cinema is a free companion app for Pomfort's look management and digital imaging software, Livegrade. It brings streaming to Apple Vision Pro for immersive video workflows or a more cinematic viewing experience right on set.

BEYOND PHYSICAL DISPLAYS Running on visionOS, Apple's spatial operating system, Apple Vision Pro blends digital content with your physical surroundings to create a portable, immersive workspace. Livegrade Cinema applies this concept to on-set monitoring in media productions, opening up new possibilities beyond conventional monitors and allowing you to directly assess and review immersive video content as it is shot.

INTERACTIVE SPATIAL VIEWING Create your own spatial viewing environment with multiple virtual monitors for live camera feeds, playback, and reference images from streams configured in Livegrade. Give each stream a window of its own, or gather up to four of them in a single multi-view window — whichever fits the setup. Arrange and resize the screens to suit your needs, and take your personal monitoring setup with you as you move around the set. Adjust how much you blend digital content with your surroundings to either stay focused on your content or keep your surroundings visible for easy collaboration with cast and crew.

CINEMA-STYLE VIEWING A large virtual screen provides distraction-free, theater-like viewing conditions right on set to assess the creative intent, cinematography, performances, set design, costume, and other creative details from another perspective.

REVIEW IMMERSIVE VIDEO CONTENT Livegrade's latest features for immersive video productions close the monitoring gap, since immersive video cannot be fully assessed with standard "2D" monitoring alone. With Livegrade Cinema, you can live-monitor and review stereo, 180° content directly on Apple Vision Pro. Check the immersive experience of your shots using the available UHD preview resolution from Livegrade's capture. Currently available in Livegrade's frontier edition.

TAILORED VIEWS Whether you want a clean camera feed or additional metadata, like camera settings or slate information, Livegrade operators can create output views tailored to your needs. In the app, an info bar adds the scene, shot and take, the clip name, and timecode to any stream, and hides again when you want a clean image.

SAVE STILLS FOR REFERENCE Capture and save still images from individual streams directly to your Photos app to collect or share references.

NETWORK STREAMS Livegrade Cinema receives streams from Livegrade via the on-set network using industry-standard encryption. A custom streaming protocol optimized for local wireless networks ensures very low latency and high reliability for smooth monitoring. Pair your Apple Vision Pro with Livegrade, pick your streams, and the graded image appears in front of you.

REQUIREMENTS Livegrade Cinema is free. It requires a machine running Livegrade (or Livegrade Frontier edition) with the optional Outputs and Streaming module, on the same local network.
