RC MIDI LOOP is an integrated MIDI and loop performance workspace developed for musicians who use an iPad during live performances and rehearsals.
LOOP WORKSTATION
Load your own rhythm and melody loops onto pads. Build performance sets across multiple pads and pages. Synchronize with manual BPM or external MIDI Clock, using compatible USB and Bluetooth MIDI devices. For melody loops, specify the recorded source key and change the playback key instantly. Use the loop editor to adjust bars, BPM, start/end points, silence trimming, and time adaptation. Save, load, and back up your work as RC Sets.
STAGE TOOLS
Organize your stage repertoire with lyrics, chords, notes, and PDF documents. Use the scale and chord screens. Enter and edit a song's chords, then tap a chord to send it directly to your connected keyboard. Use Button Select to manage the MIDI selections you need on stage. App settings and working data are stored locally on the device.
BUTTON SELECT
Control compatible instruments such as Korg PA5X, PA4X, PA1000, PA3X, Kronos and Kross, Access Virus TI2, and Nord Wave. Configure MIDI messages including Note On, Control Change, Program Change, NRPN, and SysEx, along with instrument-specific settings. Open PDF and TXT lyrics from Stage Repertoire by ID in a separate window. Send MIDI signals to up to 10 connected keyboards. Customize button colors, labels, and fonts to create a fast, personalized performance layout.
HOME SCREEN
Use 96 buttons arranged in four groups of 24. Assign a Button Select ID to recall a rhythm, Loop IDs for loops that should play with it, and transpose, scale, and sound-selection IDs. Recall multiple performance settings with a single tap.
SETTINGS AND BACKUP
Manage wired and Bluetooth MIDI connections. Configure transpose, scale, and loop functions for connected keyboards. Save the complete app setup as one set or save and load individual sections. Sets can also be shared with other RC MIDI LOOP users.
RC MIDI LOOP does not require an account and contains no advertising. Loops, audio files, PDFs, and repertoire content are added by the user. Compatible external hardware may be required for MIDI functions.
