Motorhome route, stages, tolls
How many days, where will you sleep, what will it cost? Camperada turns your route into a trip plan with nights, fuel costs and tolls. Free, no account, no ads.
Camperada plans the whole motorhome trip, not just the route: routing with your vehicle's dimensions, campsites, travel days with nights, fuel and tolls. Free, no account.
A ROUTE THAT KNOWS YOUR DIMENSIONS
• Height, width, length and weight go into the route calculation, so low bridges and weight limits stay out. If that fails for one of your stops, Camperada tells you and continues in the car profile.
• The finished route is then checked once more against the height, width, length and weight limits from OpenStreetMap. Possible pinch points show up as a list and as markers on the map.
• Don't know your dimensions yet because you're renting first? Start with the reference values of a vehicle class, from campervan to A-class, all up to 3.5 tonnes.
• Set stops via place search, tap the map or drag a marker. Reorder, reverse the route, avoid motorways, toll roads or ferries.
KILOMETERS BECOME TRAVEL DAYS
• Driving time per day between 2 and 12 hours, nights per stop freely adjustable.
• With a departure date every stop gets its calendar day. You see right away whether the tour fits your days off.
• If a leg is longer than your driving day, Camperada schedules a night on the way, shows where it falls on the route and searches for campsites right there.
WHAT THE TRIP COSTS
• Fuel from consumption, tank size and the prices of the countries you drive through, weighted by share of the route. Fuel stops sit as markers on the map.
• Vignettes and fixed special tolls as amounts, among others for Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Czechia, Slovakia and Hungary.
• Distance-based tolls in Italy, France and Croatia as a range. A single number would be a guess.
• Overnight stays as a range from low to high season, per country.
• Where no reliable tariffs exist, you get a note instead of a number.
RENTING A MOTORHOME
• Daily rate and flat fees from your offer, the deposit shown separately instead of mixed in.
• Your route checked against the mileage allowance, extra kilometers priced. Not booked yet? Camperada tells you beforehand how big the allowance needs to be.
CAMPSITES WHERE YOUR DAY ENDS
• Around 208,000 campsites and motorhome pitches worldwide from OpenStreetMap.
• Discover them on the map or search around each stop, filtered by campsite, motorhome pitch and dump station.
• Amenities, address and website, as far as the data provides them.
• One tap makes a site the overnight stay of your stop, or inserts it into the route where it costs the smallest detour.
BEFORE YOU LEAVE
• Your plan becomes a checklist: which vignette for which country, each with the official shop instead of a reseller, plus documents and gas.
• Weather forecast per stop, up to 16 days ahead.
NO DESTINATION YET, JUST TIME AND A BUDGET
• Say where you start, how many days you have and what the trip may cost. You get pre-calculated routes with travel days, nights and a cost range for the outbound leg. Pick one and Camperada recalculates with your start, your return and your vehicle.
TAKE IT ALONG, FIND IT AGAIN
• GPX 1.1 or KML, each with waypoints and track: for your sat nav, map apps or Google Earth.
• Save with a code, no sign-up. Open the plan on any device and share it.
• Optional free account for saved routes and vehicles, deletable in the app.
• The interface is available in English and German.
WHAT CAMPERADA DOESN'T DO
• No turn-by-turn navigation. Camperada plans, your GPS drives.
• No ratings, photos or prices for the sites.
• No ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking.
• An internet connection is required.
