Chinese Checkers Super

Chinese Marble Chess in Normal and Super mode. 2-6 players.

Classic is the game you grew up with: step to a neighbouring hole, or hop over a marble standing right beside you into the space just past it, chaining hops as far as they will go.

Super Chinese Checkers opens the board up. A marble may jump another from any distance, provided the gap between them is empty and it lands the same distance beyond. A marble six holes away stops being scenery and becomes a stepping stone. Journeys that take a dozen patient turns in the classic game can fold into two or three long leaps, and suddenly the whole board is worth reading, not just the holes around you.

Choose the mode when you set the game up. Both are the full game, not a handicap.

TWO TO SIX PLAYERS, ONE DEVICE

Everyone plays on the same screen, passing it round the table. Two, three, four and six players all get a fair board: with three, every destination corner starts empty; with two, four and six, you move into a corner somebody else is moving out of. Four and six can play in partnerships.
