TimeKey: Earn Screen Time

TimeKey helps families turn screen time into earned time.

Parents create tasks for their child to complete. When a task is finished and approved, the child earns screen time they can use with a selected app.

With TimeKey, parents can:

• Create and assign tasks
• Choose how much screen time each task earns
• Review and approve completed tasks
• Set daily screen-time limits
• Control how much earned time can be saved
• Gift additional screen time when needed
• Receive notifications when tasks are completed

Kids can:

• See their assigned tasks
• Mark tasks complete
• Build a bank of earned screen time
• Use earned minutes with their selected app
• See how much time they have remaining

When earned time runs out, TimeKey automatically restores the app restriction using Apple’s Screen Time technology.

TimeKey uses Apple’s Family Controls and Screen Time technologies to manage app access on supported devices. A parent and child device are required for the current TimeKey experience.
