Diamond Scout turns a game's play-by-play into the scouting report you want before the first pitch.

Share or paste the play-by-play from a game and Diamond Scout reads it line by line — who batted, where the ball went, how the at-bat ended — then builds spray charts, batting lines, and a plan for the team you face next. Everything it finds is shown to you for review before a single game is saved.

SPRAY CHARTS THAT READ AT A GLANCE Every batted ball is placed on the field and labelled with a two-letter code, so the shape of a hitter is obvious in one look. Green is a hit, red is an out, grey is a sacrifice. Filter any chart to hits, outs, sacrifices, ground balls, or balls in the air.

HITTERS AND THEIR TENDENCIES Full batting lines with average, on-base, slugging, and OPS. Sort by any stat, set a minimum plate-appearance threshold so small samples stop topping the list, and open a hitter for a game-by-game log and an average trend.

A DEFENSIVE PLAN, NOT JUST DATA Diamond Scout reads each hitter's spray and tells your fielders where to stand, in steps, scaled to the field you are actually playing on — 46/60, 50/70, or 60/90. When a hitter genuinely sprays the ball everywhere, it says so plainly instead of inventing a shift that opens both gaps.

PITCHING REPORTS Strike and ball rates, strikeouts looking and swinging, walks, hit batters, ground-ball rate, hits and extra-base hits allowed, innings, and the putaway pitch — whatever the play-by-play gives up.

BUILT FOR THE DUGOUT A lineup card for the nine hitters you are about to face, count-leverage splits, speed profiles drawn from baserunning, times-through-the-order splits, and a dugout mode sized to be read at arm's length. Every card notes how much data sits behind it, so you know when a number is a hint and when it is a pattern.

A ROSTER THAT LEARNS Correct a name once and the original spelling is kept as an alias, so the same player is recognised in the next game you import. Merge duplicates, set handedness, and keep opponents separate from your own team.

YOURS, AND YOURS ALONE Every game is read and every statistic computed on your own device, and the whole app works signed out — no account is required to scout, chart, or print. Sign in only if you want your games synced to your other devices or shared with your coaching staff. Back up to a file whenever you like and restore it on a new phone. Share a player card, scouting report, or pitching report as an image, or save it straight to Photos.

Diamond Scout is free to install and includes five game imports. Diamond Scout Pro unlocks unlimited importing for $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed in Settings. Games you have already imported stay readable whether or not you subscribe.
