SameTake: Video Recorder

One take, two ready-to-use videos. See both frames while you record, protect the composition, and save vertical 9:16 plus horizontal 16:9 straight to Photos.

Record once. Get a vertical 9:16 video and a horizontal 16:9 video from the same take.

SameTake lets you compose for both formats before you press Record. Move the vertical and horizontal frames until the important part of the scene fits both, then capture one clean master and create both versions—without filming the moment twice or discovering a bad crop afterward.

OPEN. FRAME. RECORD. No projects to configure. No editing timeline. No complicated camera setup.

WHY SAMETAKE • See vertical and horizontal framing together while you record • Reposition both frames to protect your composition • Create 9:16 and 16:9 videos from one take • Save videos directly to Photos • Use the front or rear camera and available iPhone lenses • Keep or delete the clean original after saving • Record locally—your videos are not uploaded

USE ONE TAKE WHEREVER YOU SHARE Make vertical video for Reels, Shorts, TikTok, and other mobile feeds, plus horizontal video for YouTube, websites, presentations, and widescreen viewing. Useful for tutorials, demonstrations, workouts, performances, interviews, product videos, events, and moments you cannot simply repeat.

Free vertical and horizontal exports include SameTake branding. Premium removes the branding. The clean master is available to all users.
