Second Unit: Studio Manager

Second Unit is a single-player film studio management simulation. You start with a rented office, a modest credit line, and nobody returning your calls — and you have five in-game years to turn that into something. When the run ends, you're a major, absorbed by one, or in liquidation.

THE PARALLEL PIPELINE Run two to five pictures through a seven-stage production pipeline at once — development, greenlight, pre-production, shooting, post, marketing, release. Slate capacity and cash runway are the only limits. There's no energy bar to wait out.

TWO SCORES, NO BLACK BOX Every finished picture gets a critic score and an audience score, and the Post-Release Report itemizes exactly what earned each point. Nothing about how a film's quality is decided is hidden from you.

PRESTIGE VS. CLOUT Chasing critical prestige costs you commercial clout, and vice versa — where the two land after five years decides which of six possible endings your studio reaches.

FULLY OFFLINE Second Unit runs entirely on your device. No account, no server, and no internet connection required to play. Idle progress is computed honestly from real elapsed time, never a background timer.
