A diary for anime, not a checklist.
Every other tracker treats a show as a row you edit — one status, one score, overwritten the next time you watch it. Kaisho treats a watch as an event. That single difference is the whole app.
EVERY WATCH COUNTS
A rewatch is a new entry, not an edit. Seasons, films and OVAs are rated separately, because a great first season and a weak third season are not one number. Your history becomes something you can read back instead of a list of current states.
SIX AXES, OR ONE STAR
Story, animation, soundtrack, voice acting, characters, opening and ending. Fill in the ones you care about and ignore the rest — a single star is a complete entry. Rate enough of them and Kaisho tells you which axis your overall score actually tracks, and where you are generous or harsh against your own average.
HOW TO WATCH IT
Anime franchises are a mess, and no catalogue has a "franchise" field. Kaisho builds one from the relationships between titles, then lays the works out in order with recaps, side stories and alternatives marked. Filler is tracked down to the minute inside an episode, split into canon, filler, anime original and recap — because content missing from the manga can still matter, and lumping the two together is how people get told to skip the wrong episodes. Claims are voted on, so nothing is presented as fact on one person's word.
FIND SOMETHING BY MOOD
Twelve vibes — Mindbenders, Comfort Food, Gut Punch and more — built from the tags real viewers vote on rather than broad genres. Your top nine become a shareable card and a watcher type you can post.
WORKS OFFLINE, YOURS TO TAKE
Your diary lives on your phone. No account, no connection, no sign-up wall. Sign in only if you want the community half: episode discussions, friends, shared and collaborative lists. Export everything as a file whenever you like, and delete your account from inside the app in one tap.
BRING YOUR LIST WITH YOU
Import from a MyAnimeList export file, or read a public AniList profile straight from their API. Scores become star ratings, finished titles become diary entries, and running it twice does not duplicate anything.
NO ADS, NO TRACKERS
No analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs beyond the one that talks to our own database. Nothing to buy.
Anime titles, artwork and schedules come from the AniList API. Kaisho is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to AniList or MyAnimeList.
