Roadspeed warns you about speed cameras and speed limits ahead, and keeps a record of every drive you take. The camera database is on your phone, so it works with no signal at all.

• Every drive is scored on four things separately: speed, braking, acceleration and cornering • A letter grade from A+ to F, and one line telling you which part cost you the most • Peak G, hard braking and cornering counts, 0–100 times, climb and altitude • Score trend over your last drives, and totals for 7, 30 or 90 days

EVERYWHERE YOU HAVE BEEN

• Journeys record themselves — a drive opens when the car is moving and closes when you park. Nothing to press • A heat map of every road you have driven, so the roads you take daily stand out • Territory: every 500 m square you drive through is yours, with the share of your country you have covered • Export any drive as a card or a 9:16 video for sharing • A garage for your cars, with every drive filed under the right one

PRIVACY

Your routes, your positions and your drive history stay on your phone. The camera database is bundled with the app, so looking up what is ahead needs no request to anyone. If you join the leaderboard you share a name, a picture and your figures — never your routes.

DRIVE RESPONSIBLY

Speed limits and camera positions change and may be incomplete. Always follow road signs and local law. Some countries restrict warnings about the exact position of enforcement cameras; in those countries Roadspeed shows a stretch of road rather than a point, automatically.
