FIND A CAMP More than 1,500 camp sites across Australia: free camps, national park campgrounds, caravan parks and station stays. The app opens straight onto the map — filter by type, or search by site name or town.

WORKS WITHOUT SERVICE The site catalogue is stored on your phone. Browse, search and read site details with no reception at all; when you're back in range the app quietly brings everything up to date and sends anything you wrote while you were out of service.

REAL REVIEWS AND PHOTOS Reviews come from signed-in campers, and photos are real photography. Nothing is invented — a site nobody has reviewed yet says exactly that.

FIRE AND CLOSURE WARNINGS Current warnings summarised from state emergency services, drawn on the map and shown on each site, with the time they were last checked and a link to the issuing authority. OzCamps is not a substitute for official emergency information — always check the official alert before you travel.

TIDES AND CONDITIONS Modelled tide windows for linked coastal sites, and a conditions view for each site so you know before you go.

PLAN THE TRIP Keep trips and your vehicle's details on your phone, record the 4WD tracks you drive, and set cancellation alerts for selected booked-out campgrounds.

FREE TO USE, NO ADS Finding sites, searching, reading reviews and photos, and contributing are all free — with no ads and no tracking. Your location leaves the phone only if you share a track or suggest a site, and photos have their embedded location removed before upload unless you opt in.

OZCAMPS PREMIUM (OPTIONAL) Premium unlocks unlimited saved sites, offline map downloads for every state, per-carrier coverage and nationwide fire and closure overlays, cancellation alerts when a booked-out site frees up, the community-mapped 4WD tracks layer, and OzPilot trip planning.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel it anytime in your Apple Account settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
