Your family's shared nest
nido keeps the whole family on the same page: one shared chore board, one family calendar and one kitchen, on the wall, in your pocket, and on the kids' screens.
Turn any device into the family command center That old tablet in the drawer? Prop it in the kitchen, open Kiosk mode, and it never logs out. Your family calendar, every kid's chores and tonight's recipe - always on, always current. Check a chore off on your phone and the wall screen catches up instantly. Same board, everywhere.
FEATURES
A chore board that runs itself Daily and weekly chores repeat on their own, roll over when they're missed, and celebrate when everything's done. Chores you'd rather were simply skipped when the day passes can be set that way. Archive the ones your family outgrows - what was already earned on them stays on the record.
Chore categories Group chores under headings like Morning or Outside, each with its own colour. Every board lists them under their heading, and stays a plain list when there's nothing to separate. Filter the chore list by kid, category or a quick search.
One family calendar Add events or connect Google Calendar and see everyone's day merged in one place - school runs, practices, appointments.
The Kitchen Shopping lists, the family's recipes, and the week's meals, in one tab.
Recipes without the typing Paste a recipe in from a website or a note and it gets read into the form for you. Or import it from a link, or write it out yourself. Nothing is saved until you've looked it over. Search runs across titles and ingredients as you type, with no signal needed.
Shopping lists that fill themselves Add a recipe's ingredients straight to a list, scaled to the number of people you're actually feeding. Lists keep working when the signal in the shop doesn't, and say so rather than passing a stale list off as current.
Meal planning Plan breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks across the week, and pull from the recipes you've already saved.
Cooking mode Send any recipe to the kitchen display and cook from it. The whole recipe is on screen at once - no step-through - so reading ahead costs nothing. Tap a step to strike it out and keep your place. Scale the whole thing from half to triple and every amount comes with it. Timers are read out of the steps themselves: a step that says "simmer for 20 minutes" gets a button that starts one. Running timers float over every screen and keep correct time in the background, and the screen stays awake while you cook.
Wall kiosk display Hang a tablet in the kitchen. The kiosk view shows today's board and today's events. No login, no timeout, always on.
Kid mode Hand a kid their own device, locked to just their chores and the calendar. Big taps, no settings, nothing to break. They check things off; a PIN gets you back out.
Eggs and streaks Chores earn eggs, and finished days build streaks. Kids spend what they bank in Rewards - on privileges you set and approve.
Rewards You decide what's on offer. They save their eggs and trade them in. Every chore done, every streak kept, and every egg spent stays on the record.
