Stay Close to Who Matters
The ones you always meant to ring are the easiest to let slide. REACH quietly tracks how long it has been, and nudges you before another month goes by.
REACH is a quiet reminder to stay close to the handful of people who matter most.
Not a social network. No feed, no likes, no followers, nothing to keep up with. Just the people you have chosen, and how long it has been since you actually spoke.
HOW IT WORKS
Add the people you do not want to drift from — a parent, a sibling, an old friend, a mentor. For each one, say how often you would like to be in touch: weekly with a brother, once a month with a friend across the country.
REACH counts the days. When someone slips past the rhythm you set, you get one gentle nudge. Never daily. Never a streak to protect.
ONLY YOU DECIDE WHEN IT COUNTS
This is the part that makes REACH different, and it is worth understanding.
Tapping "Call" in REACH only opens your phone's dialer. It does not record that a call happened, because REACH has no way of knowing whether it did. You might have hung up. They might not have answered. You might have called for thirty seconds about nothing.
So REACH waits. The day count moves only when you tell it you actually connected. That one rule is what makes the numbers on your screen worth trusting.
WHAT REACH NEVER SEES
REACH cannot read your call history. It cannot read your messages. It does not ask for permission to, and it has no access to either.
If you add someone from your contacts, REACH receives only the entry you picked, at the moment you pick it. Your address book is never uploaded.
There is no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no analytics service. Nothing about your use of the app is sent anywhere to be measured.
REMEMBER THE SMALL THINGS
Keep a note against anyone: the job interview, the name of the new puppy, the thing they were dreading. It is there next time you go to reach out, so you can pick up where you left off instead of starting from "how are you".
REMINDERS THAT RESPECT YOU
Set your preferred time and quiet hours. Reminders are scheduled by your own device and delivered by iOS — there is no push server, and REACH holds no push token for your phone. If you would rather have none at all, the app still works; the home screen shows who to reach whenever you open it.
YOUR DATA IS YOURS
Export everything as JSON whenever you like. Delete every person, connection, and note in one action. Or delete your entire account, permanently, from inside the app — no email, no support ticket, no waiting.
WHO IT IS FOR
People who moved away. People whose parents are getting older. People with a friend they think about often and have not called since spring. Anyone who has ever realised, too late, that it had been a year.
Stay close to the people who matter.
