Travel Camera is a camera that makes you wait. Press the shutter and the image takes thirty seconds to rise out of the white paper. Shake the phone if you can't wait. You can stretch it to ninety seconds, or turn the wait off entirely.

Everything else is instant now. These thirty seconds put a little distance between you and the thing you just photographed.

● No editing

There is no screen for touching up a photo afterwards. The colour and the grain were decided the moment you pressed the shutter.

Which makes choosing the film the whole game.

● Six films, each for something different

We didn't add more. Twenty near-identical looks is worse than a handful that clearly do different jobs.

・Snap …… start here. Everyday snapshots, sunny days ・Slide …… clean and sharp. Blue sky, the sea, water, green ・Shade …… low light. Indoors, windows, backlight ・Glass …… cool and clear. The colours are measured against real film stock. Grain and halation land differently on every frame, so the same spot never gives you the same photo twice.

● White-bordered prints

Photos come out as prints with a white border. The place and the date sit small in the bottom left, and you can turn that off. Borderless and instant-film styles are there too.

● Trips gather themselves

Photos group into trips by date. Name a trip, lay the whole thing out as one collage, or pick three to twelve frames and export a short film.

The towns and regions you visit become badges. Travel abroad and the country count starts moving.

● Pricing

Fourteen days with no limits, starting from your first photo. No watermarks. Every film available.

After that, five photos a day for free. Keep shooting and it's a one-time purchase. No subscription, no renewals.

Even when shooting stops, your photos, albums and collection stay exactly where they are. You can still export and share them.

● Privacy

There is no server. Your photos and your location never leave your phone. No ads, no tracking.

Location is used only to write a place name onto a photo. Deny it and every shooting feature still works.
