The cat is looking for a way out. Your job is to box the cat in, leaving no open path at all.

Tap an empty square and a box drops onto it. Tap that box again to take it back. Every level gives you a set number of boxes, and the wider the area you close off, the higher your score.

HOW THE CAT MOVES • It walks four ways: up, down, left, right. There is no diagonal. • Spilled water and boxes cannot be crossed. • One open path to the edge is enough, and out it goes. Tap the cat to see the squares it can reach, along with its escape route if it has one. This is the quickest way to find the gap you left open.

SPECIAL SQUARES These change your score if they end up inside with the cat: • Yarn ball: +3 points • Food bowl: +10 points • Robot vacuum: −5 points. Leave it outside if you can. • Portal: the cat goes in one end and comes out of the other. Count both.

SCORE Your score is the number of squares you closed off plus any bonuses, and your best result on each level is kept. You do not have to spend every box. More often than not, a corner closed with fewer boxes scores higher.

MOVING AROUND THE ROOM In a large room you do not have to see all of it at once: • Move two fingers apart to zoom in. • Drag with one finger to move the room. • Dragging never places a box, a short tap does. • Lift your finger and the view settles back into place.
