HangTrue Wall Planner is an offline-first gallery-wall and picture-hanging workbench for homeowners, apartment dwellers, interior stagers, photographers hanging small shows, and anyone tired of crooked frames and guesswork nail holes. You define real wall dimensions, build a library of frames and art with hang-hardware offsets, arrange pieces with align/distribute tools or one-tap layout presets, then get exact nail or hook coordinates from the floor and left edge—plus a printable numbered hang sheet you can take to the wall.

Key features: • Create named wall projects with width, height, optional chair-rail or midline guides, unit toggle (inches/cm), and notes for room or client. • Build a persistent artwork inventory: title, width, height, depth, frame finish tag, and hang hardware (wire with measured drop, single D-ring offset from top, sawtooth, or two-hook span). • Place and edit pieces on a 2D wall stage with drag, nudge steppers, snap-to-edge, multi-select align (left/center/right/top/mid/bottom), and equal-gap distribute horizontal or vertical. • One-tap layout presets that reflow selected pieces: single centered row, equal-gap grid (2–5 columns), balanced salon cluster, or linear shelf-line hang above a baseline. • Live nail/hook math for each piece: absolute X from left edge and Y from floor (or from ceiling), dual-hook spacing when needed, and a warning when a hook lands outside the wall or too close to an edge. • Generate a numbered Hang Sheet (on-device PDF): wall sketch, nail table with measurements, install order checklist, and hardware summary you can AirDrop or print before lifting a hammer. • Seed content: common ready-made frame sizes, six starter templates (sofa trio, stair ascent, office grid, entry pair, bedroom diptych, salon cluster), and a first-run sample living-room wall so review and first launch show real utility immediately. • Home-screen widget showing the active wall name, piece count, and remaining unplaced nails; App Intent “Open Last Wall” and “New Wall Project” for quick resume without hunting through lists.
