Point your iPhone at a wall. Placed uses LiDAR and ARKit to measure dimensions, read the lighting, and map the surfaces automatically — no tape measure, no typing in numbers, no guessing.

WHAT MAKES PLACED DIFFERENT

Most art preview apps give you a library of sample interiors or ask you to photograph a wall and manually input measurements. Placed does neither. It performs a spatial scan of your room and builds a real understanding of your environment:

Swipe directly on the artwork to move through Discover or your own collection — no flicking back and forth to a separate list. Each piece settles into place at the correct scale in seconds. Tap to zoom in and inspect any piece up close, or tap the wall to reposition, resize, and reframe.

Choose from layouts — pairs, stacked pieces, rows, columns, or gallery grids — and fill each slot with art from your collection or Discover. Placed spaces and centres each arrangement using real gallery hanging conventions.

Placed uses Apple's LiDAR sensor (available on iPhone Pro models) for fully automatic wall mapping and the most accurate occlusion. On non-LiDAR iPhones, Placed still works via ARKit — you'll fine-tune wall alignment with a simple on-screen grid, and object occlusion is less precise.
