Celvion Scout helps landscape, astrophotography, and city photographers plan a shoot from one place.

This outing brings your saved plan and packing checklist together. Packing checks stay on this device for each plan; departure reminders can be turned off in Settings without disabling manual tools. Pro and Studio add on-demand departure rechecks, darker-site alternatives and downloadable shoot packs. Packs retain prepared planning information and any saved weather with timestamps; they do not include offline maps or live forecasts. Studio can prepare packs for itinerary stops in batches.

Explore 193 curated candidate locations bundled with the app across 39 countries and regions. A signature-verified online catalog supplements these bundled spots with reviewed public-data places. Matching entries are merged; bundled and user-saved spots take precedence, and duplicates are not shown. Check weather, visibility, wind, sun and moon positions, twilight, local time, access notes, safety reminders, and suggested focal lengths before setting out.

Build a photo plan with independent camera and subject points, minute-by-minute local time, sun, moon and Milky Way guides, and terrain sources kept separate from the spot catalog: regional official terrain estimates in the United States and Australia, approximate global Copernicus terrain when online, and a coarse offline terrain fallback elsewhere. Critical-light shortcuts and an explainable conditions score round out the plan. On supported iPhones and iPads, AR Preview provides an estimated live alignment with compass accuracy and calibration guidance.

Your private spots, collections, and plans are local-first. Optional iCloud Sync uses your private CloudKit database.

Apple Weather is available on every tier for up to 10 days and up to 12 selected places per comparison; common on-device safeguards apply equally and are not subscription benefits. Free saves up to 10 spots. Pro adds explainable advanced photography scoring, future-date composition planning, AR alignment, one-plan Shoot Briefs, and unlimited saved spots. Studio adds multi-location itineraries, route sorting, batch Shoot Briefs, foreground condition reviews, and privacy-safe client delivery. Folders, plans, and imports are available on every tier, with optional private iCloud Sync; imports share a separate 2,500-point-per-file reliability threshold. If a subscription ends with more than 10 saved spots, every existing spot remains available; new saves pause until the user removes saved spots to make room or paid access is restored. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Only the Pro Annual plan offers a 7-day free trial for eligible accounts; Pro Monthly and both Studio plans have no trial.
