Idea: One Idea at a Time

Every idea list app has the same defect: the list only grows. Full by month two, dead by month four, because nothing ever comes back out.

The obstacle is not difficulty. It is that the thing is never chosen. Idea is not a better list. It is a selection event for the things you want to do.

THE RESERVOIR Write anything you want, any time. No due dates, tags, folders, priorities, or sorting. An idea can sit without becoming a debt you owe the app.

THE DRAW When nothing is live, Idea deals you a small hand — including something old and something you have passed over before. You choose what to pull down instead of trying to choose from everything at once.

ONE AT A TIME Idea holds exactly one live idea. Pull one down and give it a route: the next step, the shape of the effort, and what done will look like. To pull again, finish it, set it down, or let it go.

THE RECORD Every draw is remembered, including the ideas you passed over. Every ending stays in the record: done, set down, or let go. Over time, the record shows not only what you say you want, but what you reach for.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No progress bars, completion percentages, scores, streaks, guilt, social feed, or booking links. The reservoir is not a list of chores, and the app never nags you about the ideas still waiting.

YOUR IDEAS STAY YOURS Everything is stored on your iPhone. There is no account, sign-up, email address, advertising, tracking, or analytics. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you turn on private iCloud sync in Settings, which is off by default and uses your own iCloud account.
