Bouncer: Screen Time Blocker

You don't need another screen-time dashboard. You need someone at the door. Bouncer blocks your distracting apps and getting past him costs more every time you give in.

Your attention is a private club. Social feeds, short-form video apps, and the rest wait in line outside, trying to get in all night.

Bouncer is the doorman. You make the rules. He enforces them.

HOW IT WORKS • Arm a rule: Sleep, Focus, Social... or build your own. • A time window (10 PM – 7 AM) or a daily limit (45 min/day) decides when your blacklist is locked out. • When a blocked app shows up, it gets turned away. DENIED.

WANT IN ANYWAY? IT'LL COST YOU. There's no unlock button on the blocked screen. You walk over to Bouncer and face the doorman: • The wait only counts down while you're looking at it. Lock your phone, leave — it pauses. You pay in attention. • On High, every time you give in, the wait gets longer and the session you buy gets shorter. Pay more. Get less. • Walking away is free. Getting in is what costs you.

YOU CAN'T TALK YOUR WAY PAST YOUR OWN RULES. Changing or disabling an armed rule goes through the same friction as breaking it. No settings maze, no quiet exceptions. An addict who negotiates has already lost — so Bouncer doesn't negotiate.

THE BOUNCER'S REPORT One honest number, nothing else: • Real time spent in your blacklisted apps, straight from Screen Time, as a daily average. The only progress that matters is that curve going down. No vanity metrics. No "time reclaimed" estimates. We deleted them on purpose.

LOCKDOWN For the nights you mean it: no friction, no negotiation, no way in until the window ends. One local Emergency Pass is available on a fresh installation and returns seven days after use. It turns off active Lockdowns; Normal and High stay on.

PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE No account. Your Screen Time usage and app selections never leave your phone — usage is rendered by iOS itself; the app can't even read it. Bouncer sends anonymous operational events and crash diagnostics only. Built on Apple's Screen Time technology.
