A little water buddy lives on your home screen and wilts when you skip a drink. Tap the widget to log one. No app to open, no account, no sign-up.

Drinking water is easy. Remembering is the hard part. WaterBoy gives you a buddy who notices when you forget.

He's a splash of water living in a round glass on your home screen. He sloshes, blinks, naps, and reacts when you poke him. He starts every morning full, sinks a little with each reminder you let slide, and fills right back up the moment you drink. Keep up and he's cheerful. Ignore him all afternoon and he's a mopey puddle at the bottom of the glass.

LOG A DRINK WITH ONE TAP A tap is a sip, three sips make a cup, and a cup is 12 oz. Or not: sip size, cup size, sips per cup, and your daily goal are all yours to set. Every drink lands in a day-by-day log.

WIDGETS THAT DO THE WORK Three home-screen sizes and four lock-screen shapes, each showing your buddy, today's cups, and the countdown to the next nudge. Every home-screen widget has a drink button, so most days you never open the app at all. You can even pet him right there.

REMINDERS SHAPED LIKE YOUR DAY Set reminder windows: named stretches of the day, each with a cup target. Nudges only arrive inside a window, and a window goes quiet the moment you hit its target. The default pair (Daytime 8am to 5pm, 7 cups, plus Evening 8pm to 10pm, 1 cup) adds up to an 8-cup day. Plan each weekday differently, or just let WaterBoy remind you until the goal is met. Days you leave off the schedule are rest days: no nudges, no guilt, no broken streak. Pause it for a meeting. Snooze it through lunch.

A STREAK THAT FORGIVES ONE BAD TUESDAY Today stays safe until it's over. Rest days don't count against you. And a single miss is forgiven; it takes two in a row to end a run. The month view shows every day at a glance, plus your best run and average cups.

HYDRATE WITH FRIENDS, IF YOU WANT Send a friend your link, or read them a short code, and you each get a little roster of animated buddies in progress rings. Nudge someone falling behind or cheer someone who finished. Each connection is private to the two of you, and friends only see your name, your buddy, and how your day is going. Never what you drank or when. Mute or remove anyone, any time.

PRIVATE BECAUSE THERE'S NOWHERE TO SEND IT No account. No login. No WaterBoy server, because there isn't one. Your drinks live on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, end-to-end encrypted, and the app works fine with the network off. Friends is the only feature that needs the internet, and it rides your own iCloud too, so what you share with friends never passes through us. No Apple Health access. No analytics.
