待辦 To Do - Simple List

New: a Grid that asks urgent and important separately, so you can see what to do first. And a thing can now be part-way done, not just done or not.

A to-do list that is deliberately small. Open it, write the thing down, leave.

Most to-do apps fail by having too much, not too little: before you can write down the thing you were trying to remember, you have to pick a list, a date and a priority. This app has none of those steps.

• Write it down: tap +, type, press Return. Keep typing to add another — the keyboard never leaves. • Reorder: press and hold, then drag. Your order is never overruled by an automatic sort. • Finish: tap the circle and it drops into a collapsed Done section. Tap it again to undo. • Progress: swipe a row in from the left and set how far along it is, in tens. • Delete: swipe left.

= TIMELINE =

This is the part other lists do not have. The timeline is not a calendar. It groups your unfinished items by when you wrote them down, and shows how long each one has been sitting. Anything older than a week is marked.

Dragging a row never changes how old it is, so the timeline always tells you the truth — you cannot tidy it up by rearranging. One tap flips it around to show what you have actually cleared.

= GRID =

Urgent and important are two different questions. Most of what feels pressing only answers one of them.

The Grid lays your unfinished things out on both: a small map of the counts at the top, the items in their four groups below. Two optional toggles sort a thing while you are still typing it; ignore them and it stays unsorted, and writing it down is exactly as fast as it was.

There are no due dates, no reminders and no notifications here. Urgent is a judgement you make, not something the app works out from a date.

• Everything is stored on your device. No account, no cloud, no sync. • The text of your items never leaves your phone. • Anonymous usage data is collected — which screens were opened, counts, ages — to see which parts are worth keeping. • No ads, and your data is never sold.

• Traditional Chinese (Cantonese) and English, switchable inside the app with no relaunch. • Light and dark, and it respects larger text sizes. • Free. There is a tip jar in Settings if you want to support it, and skipping it is completely fine.
