oswim: open water swimming

Your Apple Watch swims arrive on their own, carrying the sea you swam in. And every morning, oswim tells you whether your beaches are worth it.

oswim answers one question: can I swim, here, today?

CONDITIONS, BEACH BY BEACH Water temperature, waves, chop, wind, tide, UV — oswim gathers what matters to a swimmer and turns it into a window: "best window today, 1 pm to 10 pm". Safety is never blended into comfort: cold, currents, the things that should actually stop you are shown apart, each with the reading that decided it. What is unknown is shown as unknown, never invented.

YOUR SWIMS, FINALLY LEGIBLE Connect the app to Health and your Apple Watch swims arrive on their own — years of history included. You get what the iPhone shows nowhere: your totals for the week, the month, the year, each against the period before, your trend, your records. Pool and open water, with the GPS route on the map.

THE SEA OF THAT DAY This is the part no other app does: every swim keeps the conditions of its hour. "Water 18.7 °C, waves 0.4 m, wind 25 km/h." Even swims from three years ago. And if your watch measures the water itself (Ultra, Series 10 and 11), oswim shows that beside the forecast.

THE MORNING DIGEST Pick your beaches and a notification tells you each morning what the sea is doing. You choose the hour, the months of the year, and you can pause any time. Signed in, your beaches are the same on all your devices.

PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your swims are yours. You decide to share one, and you decide field by field what shows: the route, the distance, the pace, the heart rate. Nothing is public without your say-so. Your health data is never used for advertising and never sold. You can delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app.

WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT TOO Conditions for more than 3,000 beaches are there with nothing to create. An account only keeps your swims and your alerts.
