Build towers, merge numbers
BuildUp is 2048 — with a skyline.
Swipe, and when two matching buildings touch they merge into a bigger one. A shack
becomes a wooden house, houses become apartment blocks, and eleven merges later you
are standing under a Landmark Tower. The rules you already know. A completely
different thing to look at.
HOW TO PLAY
• Swipe up, down, left or right — every building on the board moves at once.
• Two of the same kind that meet merge into the next one up.
• Don't let the board fill.
• Reach the Landmark Tower — that's the 2048 tile — and keep going for a bigger score.
NOT A GRID OF NUMBERS
Your city is built in real 3D and drawn live. Buildings grow storey by storey as they
merge, chimneys and spires and glass fronts arrive with them, the light falls across
the board, and the camera leans gently as you tilt your device.
Prefer the classic? Switch on "Numbers on buildings" and every building wears its
2048 number.
ELEVEN BUILDINGS TO REACH
Shack › Wooden House › Stone House › Two-Story House › Small Apartment › Apartment
Block › Low-Rise Office › Office Tower › Glass Tower › Skyscraper › Landmark Tower
FIVE PLACES TO BUILD
• Canada — endless pine forest
• Switzerland — a snow-capped peak with meltwater running down it
• Egypt — pyramids and open desert
• Japan — a pagoda under cherry blossom
• Greece — a white island in the Aegean, boats on the water
Every theme brings its own colours, its own sky and its own calm soundtrack. There is
also a Power Saving theme that clears the landscape away entirely — darker on screen,
lighter on your battery.
GAME CENTER
Fifteen achievements, from your very first merge to the Landmark Tower itself, and a
global leaderboard for your best score.
STUCK? FOUR WAYS OUT
• Undo — take back your last move
• Demolish — clear one building off the board
• Shuffle — send every building to a new cell
• Join — merge two matching buildings wherever they are, however far apart
Your first three are free. After that they cost coins, which you can buy in the shop.
ALSO WORTH KNOWING
• No adverts. None at all.
• No account and no sign-up. The game itself plays offline.
• It saves itself — put it down mid-game and pick it up days later.

Free to play, and free to finish: nothing you can buy is needed to reach 2048.
