Features & Capabilities

Five hidden prices a day, one guess each, scored on how close you get. Same five lots for everyone, free forever, no account.

Five things a day. The price is hidden. How close can you get?

Ballpark is a daily guessing game about what things actually cost. Every day at midnight you get five lots — a used camera body, a pound of ground beef, a front brake job, a month of daycare — described in plain text with no photo. You get one guess each.

You are not scored on being right. You are scored on how close you were. Guessing $200 on a $100 lot and guessing $50 on a $100 lot are the same miss, and a round where you were never more than ten percent out is a very good round.

EVERYBODY GETS THE SAME FIVE The day's lots come from the date itself. There is no server, no account, and no sign-up — which also means your friends are playing exactly the puzzle you played, and the share line says how you did without spoiling a single price.

A GAME ABOUT REAL PRICES Every lot carries a note saying where its number came from and when it was last checked, and both are printed on the reveal. Prices rot; a game about them should say so out loud.

FREE, WITH NO CATCH IN IT Today's five lots are free forever. No ads, no account, no prompt, no energy meter, no currency to buy. The optional subscription unlocks the archive of past puzzles for people who want to sit down with fifty rounds instead of five, and an archive round never touches your streak.

WHAT IS IN IT • Five new lots every day, the same five for everyone • Scored on how close, not on being right • A streak for consecutive days played • Game Center leaderboards for accuracy and streak • A spoiler-free share line • Works completely offline • No ads, no tracking, no account

Groceries, used cars, tools, vet bills, rent, roof replacements, a dozen eggs. You will be sure about half of them and wildly wrong about the other half, and finding out which is which is the whole game.

SUBSCRIPTION Unlimited Archive unlocks the archive: every past daily puzzle, playable at any time, as many in a row as you like. Today's five lots stay free for everyone, subscribed or not.

Unlimited Archive is $1.99 per month, auto-renewing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account settings.
