NibVault keeps a private, detailed record of your fountain pens and inks. It is made for collectors who want useful information close at hand without creating an account or handing their collection to another service.

Catalogue and organise your collection

• Record makers, models, variants, colours, materials, nibs, filling systems, capacity, condition, acquisition details, value and notes • Add multiple photographs with full-screen viewing and zoom • Rate individual pens and inks from zero to five stars • Organise items into nested locations such as Study / Cabinet / Drawer 2 • Browse, search, filter, favourite and archive records without losing their history • Scan packaging to find likely catalogue matches, then review the details before adding an entry. Recognition happens on your device • Suggest missing catalogue products from your custom entries, with product details prefilled for review and private collection information excluded

Pens, inks and pairings

• See which pens are currently inked and when each fill began • Record fill volumes, dates and notes • Rate each pen-and-ink pairing and keep notes on flow, colour, drying time, cleaning or anything else you notice • Track bottle sizes, remaining ink levels, colour families, sheen, shimmer and shading

Care and rotation

• Record cleaning, flushing, inspection, nib work, repairs and professional servicing • Schedule local cleaning and rotation reminders • Review upcoming, due-today and overdue Care tasks

Wishlist and grails

• Every owned pen and ink can have a printable QR label • Create A4 label sheets in three sizes for cases, boxes, shelves and ink drawers • Scan your own label for quick actions, or another collector's label to review product details before adding them to your collection or wishlist • Share importable item links, PDF records and social cards

Private sync, backup and transfer

• Optionally sync your collection between your own iPhone and iPad using your private iCloud storage • Create complete NibVault backups including photographs and history • Preview a backup before restoring it • Import CSV or Excel collections with guided column mapping • Export pens, inks, fill history and Care records as CSV or multi-sheet Excel workbooks

Made for iPhone and iPad

• Use an adaptive iPad layout in portrait and landscape, with navigation rails, multiple columns and split item details • See your current rotation and upcoming care in Home Screen widgets, or open the QR scanner from an iPhone Lock Screen widget • Use Siri and Shortcuts to check a pen's ink, find pens using an ink, check maintenance and choose your next rotation pen • On iOS 18 or later, add controls for scanning labels and starting entries to Control Centre or the Lock Screen, or use a compatible Action button • Find owned pens and inks from Spotlight • Open Add a pen, Add an ink, Scan a label or Search by pressing and holding the NibVault icon • Choose Cream, White, Sakura, NibVault, Black or Garnet, with separate light and dark themes and optional device appearance switching • Choose any of six app icons, or select Match my theme • Use NibVault in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese or Greek

Your data and privacy

Your collection, photographs, prices, notes, ratings, fill history and Care records stay on your devices and in your own private iCloud storage if you enable Collection Sync. Catalogue suggestions share only the details you review and choose to submit. NibVault has no user accounts, advertisements, subscriptions or locked features
