Byroads is your place library and your trip planner in one app.

Collect the places that matter — drinking water, bakery, campsite, viewpoint — and find them again when you are on the road.

PLACES ALONG A ROUTE Load a route and see what sits near it: water, supermarket, bike repair, campsite, café. Look at the finds on the map and keep the ones you need in your library. For bike touring, road trips and campervans.

YOUR LIBRARY Folders for tours and regions, categories with their own symbols, notes, favourites. Search, filter, edit several places at once.

FILES Import and export as GPX, KML and CSV — including straight from other apps via the share sheet. On export, places can be snapped onto the route; some bike computers and navigation devices only show them as waypoints when they sit exactly on it.

PROXIMITY ALERTS Your iPhone tells you when you get close to a place. Your location stays on the device.

SYNC With iCloud the same places are on iPhone and Mac. No account with us, no server of ours.

FROM APPLE MAPS Places arrive through the share sheet.

BYROADS PRO Places along a route, iCloud sync, proximity alerts, and file export. Monthly, yearly or one-time.

Without Pro you keep unlimited places, sharing single places from Apple Maps, and editing several places at once.

Byroads Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, monthly or yearly, or a one-time purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage and cancel it in your Apple Account settings after the purchase.
