GridMail: Email as a Grid

Two views of the mailbox you already have: a grid that turns volume into a map, and a conversation view that reads reply chains like a chat.

GridMail shows the mailbox you already have in two views built for getting through a lot of email: a spatial grid when you need to clear volume, and a conversation view when you need to answer people.

Sign in with Google, Microsoft or Apple, then connect your Gmail or Microsoft 365 / Outlook mailbox. GridMail reads it directly. Your mail stays where it is. Reads, flags, archives and deletes go straight back to your mailbox as ordinary actions, so everything you do in GridMail is reflected in your other mail apps.

Grid mode

• See your messages laid out on two axes you choose, so volume becomes a map instead of a list.
• Pivot the grid by time band, sender, domain, read status, flag status, attachments, links, email type, or whether you were on To or Cc.
• Multi-select cards to archive or mark read in batches.
• Focus controls hide senders you never need to triage, such as newsletters and automated alerts. Bring them back any time.
• Empty cells show you where nothing is waiting, so there are no silent gaps.

Conversation mode

• Quoted reply chains are split back into turns you read like a chat: who said what, and in what order.
• Reply in a single line, or open full compose with Cc, attachments and quoted history preserved.
• Signatures and legal footers are lifted out of the message body so the actual sentence stands out. They are kept, not deleted.
• Show original renders the untouched source of any message exactly as it arrived.

Read, reply, act

• Full HTML email rendered inline, attachments included.
• One-tap Reply, Forward, Archive, Delete and Mark Read from the message view.
• Calendar invitations are recognised and shown with their meeting time.
• Create email signatures and assign them to your mailbox.
• Alerts when mail arrives, delivered as standard notifications you control from Settings.
• Works on iPhone and iPad.

Your data

GridMail's servers do not store your email content. Messages are loaded into the app's memory while you work and are gone when you close it. Sign-in uses Google, Microsoft and Apple's own sign-in; GridMail never sees or stores your password. You can delete your account and its data from inside the app. Full details are in the privacy policy at gridmail.app/privacy.

Getting started

Connect one Gmail or Microsoft 365 mailbox to begin. There is no import step and no forwarding to set up: GridMail is a different view of your mail, not a different mailbox.
