Cast, fight, collect the deep
Twelve real waters, 240+ species, and weather that changes what's biting. New:
live water temperature, thermal patterning, and storms with real lightning.
Read the water. Pick your rig. Set the hook.
Reel Rush Fishing is a fishing game with an actual fishery underneath it. Every
one of the 240+ species has a depth range, a feeding clock, and a water
temperature it wants — and all three decide whether it is there at all. Learn
the pattern and the lake starts giving up its secrets.
TWELVE REAL WATERS
From a warm California bass lake to a Smoky Mountain trout creek, the Chesapeake,
the Great Barrier Reef, Cabo's blue water, and the cold deep of Kenai Fjords and
the Gulf of Maine. Each one is drawn from the real place, down to the horizon
you fish against.
FOURTEEN RIGS THAT FISH DIFFERENTLY
A worm under a bobber. A spinnerbait you hold to retrieve. A curly-tail grub
that spins on the reel. A crankbait that digs to its running depth. A flutter
spoon they hit on the fall. A dry fly that has to be twitched. Each rig is
worked its own way, and each one calls up different fish.
WEATHER, HOUR, AND TEMPERATURE MATTER
Fish dawn for the low-light bite, or after dark for catfish and walleye. Watch a
storm gather, break, and throw lightning across the water — then feel the bite
turn on. Water temperature moves with the location, the hour, the weather, and
how deep you drop, and the fish move with it. There is a thermocline down there.
FIGHT THEM PROPERLY
Hold to reel, keep the line tension in the gold, and let a running fish take
line before it snaps you off. Big fish sound for the bottom, shake their heads,
and roll onto their side when they're beaten.
BUILD THE OPERATION
Upgrade rod, reel, line, and hooks. Buy boats from a kayak up to a lake cruiser,
or take a Personal Watercraft, a Party Pontoon, or the Golden Gill from the Cash
Shop. Set minnow and critter traps. Chum the water. Enter the derby. Mount your
best catch on the trophy room wall, and fill in the Fish-o-pedia one species at
a time.
CLIMB THE LEADERBOARDS
Game Center keeps three boards — biggest fish, most fish caught, and lifetime
earnings — and your records go up against every other angler's. Signing in is
optional, and the game never waits on it.
NO ENERGY TIMERS
Fish as long as you like. Coin packs and the Cash Shop boats are optional: they
skip grind, never gates, and anything you buy restores on a new device. Switch
on the daily reminder if you want a nudge when your reward is stacked, or leave
it off — the game plays the same either way.
Tight lines.
