Tick off your shopping list and your pantry fills itself. Recepta then tells you what you can cook tonight, and what you're only one ingredient away from.

Recepta answers one precise question: what do I cook tonight, with what I already have?

TONIGHT, YOU COULD MAKE

Tick off your shopping list in the shop. Every item you tick goes into your pantry: there is nothing to keep up to date, it is the gesture you were making anyway.

Fresh food leaves on its own: fish after two days, meat and bread after three, vegetables after a week, dairy after ten days. Flour, spices and tins stay. A pantry that still holds food you ate last week is worse than none; this one stays true without your attention.

Recepta then ranks your recipes by distance: what you can cook right now, then what is one purchase away, then two. Where other apps hand you an empty list because you're missing a clove of garlic, Recepta tells you which one, and offers to add it to your list.

SEVENTY RECIPES TO BEGIN WITH

A new notebook is an empty one, and an empty notebook can tell you nothing. So Recepta arrives with seventy simple recipes: ten French, ten Italian, ten Spanish, ten German, ten English, ten Japanese, ten Chinese, each written in its own language, each photographed. The ones in your language come first.

They are yours: edit them, or remove them all with one tap in Settings. They will not come back.

SEVERAL TIMERS AT ONCE

A stew is a twenty-minute rest inside a forty-five-minute simmer. Recepta holds all your timers together and puts them on the Lock Screen, in the order they will ring, each with its name and step number. You see what is coming without unlocking, and each one rings on time.

WHAT IT CONTAINS, WHAT IT SUITS

Every recipe states its allergens and the diets it suits (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, pork-free), worked out from its ingredients, with nothing for you to enter.

The two are not stated the same way. "Contains gluten" is asserted as soon as one ingredient carries it. "Gluten-free" is only written when every line is recognised; otherwise Recepta says it doesn't know, and how many lines are missing. This is a label people act on: it must not be guessed.

A NOTEBOOK, NOT A FEED

Your recipes are yours. Write them, photograph them, sort them. Or share a page from Safari, Instagram or TikTok: Recepta pulls out the title, the ingredients and the steps, and lets you correct them. Nothing is published, nothing is shared, there is no feed, and nobody sees what you cook.

WHILE YOU COOK

Cooking mode shows one step at a time, large, the screen stays awake and the background turns dark. Say "next" or "repeat" when your hands are in the flour, or let Recepta read the steps aloud.

A recipe written in another language translates at the touch of a button, on the device: nothing is sent anywhere. It is a machine translation, it says so, and the original is one tap away.

THE WEEK AND THE SHOPPING

Put recipes on the days of the week. The shopping list follows, adds up the quantities that can be added up, and sorts them by aisle in the order of the shop. Take a recipe off the week and the list corrects itself.

Servings rescale. Units convert both ways (grams or ounces, litres or cups) or simply follow your region.

ON ALL YOUR DEVICES

iPhone, iPad and Mac. iCloud sync exists and stays off until you turn it on. Widgets, Siri shortcuts, and printing for a recipe or the shopping list.

YOUR PRIVACY

Recepta collects nothing. No account, no tracker, no advertising, no usage analytics. Your recipes stay on your devices, and in your iCloud if you turn it on, which we cannot read.
