Perfect Pitch & Solfege RPG
For anyone learning to play by ear or sing in tune: hear a note, name it, and slay the monster. 60 stages across 6 chapters. Practice mode is always free.
For anyone learning to play by ear, sing in tune, or pass an aural exam: Pitch Warrior turns ear training into a monster-slaying RPG. Hear a note, pick it from four choices, and every correct answer lands a hit. No music background needed.
■ LISTEN, CHOOSE, ATTACK
Each round plays a sound — a single note, a short phrase, or a chord. Pick the correct answer from four choices to land a hit; your accuracy decides the battle. Every choice sounds as you pick it, with no limit on how often, so you can compare candidates against what you heard. Enharmonic spellings (like C# and Db) are always judged as the same pitch, so you'll never lose points for hearing correctly but answering with the "wrong" spelling. Missed the question itself? Tap Replay mid-answer to hear it again (once per question, twice with Pro).
■ 60 STAGES, 6 CHAPTERS
From Dark Note to Requiem of the Fallen, six chapters of monsters raise the stakes as you go. The first three chapters build single-note listening — white keys, then sharps and flats, then a wider range with octave discrimination. The last three chapters shift to chords — two-note intervals on white keys, then with black keys, then full triads. Every stage is tuned so the difficulty climbs one small step at a time.
■ PRACTICE MODE, NO LIMITS
Set your own range, question type, and chord types, and replay the reference sound as many times as you like. Practice mode never costs stamina, so you can train at your own pace.
■ THINGS TO CHASE
- Per-stage grades (CLEAR / COMPLETE) and 27 collectible titles
- The satisfaction of a perfect COMPLETE run
- Game Center leaderboards for completed stages and overall completion rate
■ YOUR NOTATION, YOUR WAY
Switch anytime between solfège (Do-Re-Mi) and letter names (C-D-E); octave numbers are added automatically on stages where the same note name shows up at more than one pitch. After every answer, staff notation and a keyboard show the correct pitch beside yours — great for both absolute and relative pitch training. The app itself is fully available in English or Japanese.
■ ABOUT PRO
The free version uses a stamina system (5 max, one point refilling every 3 hours); stages cost stamina to play, while Practice mode is always free and unlimited. Upgrading to Pro gives you unlimited stamina and a second Replay per question. If ads are ever added to the app in the future, Pro will never show them.
Whether you've studied music for years or never touched an instrument, Pitch Warrior turns ear training into a game you'll actually want to play. Works fully offline, with progress backed up to iCloud automatically — restore it anytime from Settings.
