A minesweeper with no top and water rising behind you. Seal each band as you leave it, bank what you dug out, and see how high you get before the third life goes.

Sweepercraft is a minesweeper you climb.

The shaft has no top. You start on the floor and keep going until your third life is gone. How high you got is the whole result.

WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT

Every number counts the mines in its own band and nothing else. Each band is a self contained puzzle with a wall at either end.

The climb only goes one way. Your first tap in a new band seals everything below it for good, so whatever you left in the ground stays there. Every band, you decide how much to take before you step up.

Water rises behind you. A move pays one gap off the clock but never wipes it, so falling behind costs you and catching up is always possible. Move well and you climb further.

The shaft earns its width. Seven columns at the floor, one more every ten bands sealed, thirteen by band sixty one. Every band keeps the width it was born at, so the shaft stays ragged behind you.

SCORING

Chips times multiplier, banked band by band. Prove a cell from the numbers and it pays. Guess it and the multiplier remembers.

THE LADDER

Four upgrades, bought with credits earned by climbing. A spare life. More room behind you when the water catches up. Cells already open when you enter a band. A longer gap between rows.

Each one is bought for a single climb and spent when that climb ends, so it stays a decision rather than becoming permanent power. Together they cost more than even a good run pays, so buying one is declining another.

RELAX

The same shaft with the water taken out. No clock, no hazard, and a record of its own. For when you want the puzzle without the pressure.
