Echo Cortex

Echo Cortex is a sleek, neon dual-world puzzle game about synchronization. Two grids — World A (Echo) and World B (Cortex) — sit side by side, each with its own signal to guide to the exit. Move one, and both move at once. The catch: World B is mirrored, so every step you take plays out differently on each side.

Plan your route with care. Every level is a tight puzzle of limited moves and a live Sync percentage that tells you how close both worlds are to reaching balance together. Get it right and both signals land on their exits in perfect sync. Get it wrong, and the worlds fall out of sync — with a clear tip to help you plan better on your next attempt.

HOW IT FEELS Echo Cortex is calm, focused puzzle-solving — closer to a quiet strategy session than a fast-reflex game. Every level rewards thinking two steps ahead, literally.

HOW TO PLAY

1. START A LEVEL From the main menu, tap "Play Game" to continue your progress, or "Level Select" to jump to any unlocked level directly.

2. READ THE BRIEF Each level names its mirroring rule (e.g. "World B is Mirrored") and shows your move limit and starting Sync percentage at the topof the screen.

3. WATCH BOTH WORLDS AT ONCE World A (Echo, teal) and World B (Cortex, pink) sit side by side. Each has its own signal dot and its own exit — but they share your controls.

4. MOVE ONCE, AFFECT BOTH Use the directional pad to move. Every tap shifts the signal in both World A and World B at the same time — remember that World B may move in a mirrored direction, so plan each step with both grids in mind.

5. TRACK YOUR MOVES AND SYNC You have a limited number of moves per level. Watch the Sync percentage climb as your signals approach both exits together.

6. SYNCHRONIZED Get both signals to their exits and you'll see "Synchronized" — your star rating, Shards earned, and a short neuroscience fact tied to the level's theme. Tap Next Level to continue.

7. DESYNC — LEARN AND RETRY Run out of moves or drift out of alignment and you'll see "Desync" with a specific tip for that level. Tap Retry to jump straight back in with a better plan.
